why do people ask for email addresses when cracks are freely available at GCW and more?
Just to improve your 'email target database' for obvious reasions heh?

of course its allowed to publish (legal) links in this forums, especially if its a link to a GCW site.
and with target database i meant spam. ppl write 'leave your email here...' and voila, you got a pretty decent list of valid addresses which can be collected by spam harvesters and i've even heard of ppl that sold the addresses they collected. ask other members. i'm usually not a person who flames for no/little reasons. and to show that i am also willing to help, here the links to cracks available at GCW: http://dl.gamecopyworld.com/dl.cgi?idx-bf15!rar http://dl.gamecopyworld.com/dl.cgi?bf1942_red_15!rar

Email adresses posted on the forums WILL get harvested by spambots, for the simple reason that these forum pages are publicly accessible and that's all the spambots need. That's why it's a much better idea to use pm's. And as for links, links to on topic stuff like cracks is pretty much always allowed, except for one crack site That Shall Not Be Named.

I did a search on GCW before suggesting the guy PM 'd me his email add. to keep it private,but no result came up.When I click on your links I get it straightaway. Quote:
