Apple Chip

I am wondering what is the different between a chip name "apple" and the magic 3. I supposed to install a magic 3 but that guy install an "apple 2.......or maybe 3???" into my machine. Did I get ripped off?

There is no apple 3, but there is an apple 2. You got a good deal out of it. Magic 3 sucks.
