Ulead Dvd Movie Factory 2

HI i got loads of divxs (.avi) and i go into ulead dvd movie factory 2 and try and create a dvd and it pops up and error it says blah blah.avi is not accessiable what shall i do it only works for mpeg files do i need to convert it to mpeg or what if so what program shall i use
