Replacing PS2 Laser

Is there a local place that can do this. I know of PSX-Tech in San Fran, but any other Sacramento, Stockon locations? I ask this because appearantly my laser in my ps2 is shot to all hell, and is seemingly only picking up CD-r's (action replay loads fine as well as an old gameshark), but now wont pick up any DVD-r games. It is sadly a version4 (that LOOKS like a version5 - ).
