Need a little help.

Hey all,

New to this whole thing. Just bought a mod-chip yesterday and am already trying to copy my games in anticipation.

I do not own a DVD-R so I am being careful not to copy my PS2 DVD games.

I want to be able to maybe also keep a copy of my games on my Hard Drive. What program would I need to go this?

Also after that what program sould I need to burn them back to CD.

How would I patch the games? I understand where to get the patched from, I just don't know what program to patch the (.gl?) file with. And what program to burn the .gl with.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Pepe

To burn CD based games, I use Nero Burning Rom. What modchip did you get? Depending on the chip and game, you probably won't have to patch the game. Not really worth it, just backing up CD based games, not much are out there I think. Might as well get a DVD Burner and backup your DVD based games.

i disagree w/ the use of nero, if you wanna backup cd-based games you should use clonecd, it is REALLY easy and makes THE best backups of cd's.....

good luck

alcohal 120% is the best for cd games but clony and clone cd are a close second
as for backing up to your hd you need alcohol 120% this has a image makeing wazard that will make a backup for you on your hd but they some times don't burn well after a time on the computer
good luck
