Help with Patching Tokyo Extreme Racer2

i'm a bit new to burning and all i sold my original game to my best friend to build my computer and now im trying to apply the save the fix to the bkup put i really have no idea how to.
Any help would be well appreciated. I have the latest version of nero and dj.
