Gangs of New York

Just bought Gangs of New York, but cant get it on to one dvd with dvd shrink.

Its over 7gb. Got it down to 4.8gb with re-authoring and compression.

35mb short lol,

Any suggestions?

You tried any other transcoding software?
You might want to try one of the better transcoding software packages as it's a big movie - it will take longer but the quality would be better.
Instantcopy might take about 2hrs
CCE will take many hours but is the best quality by far.

Just got latest dvd shrink and it worked fine. I just love shrink it easy for my tiny brain lol oh and you can cut out the copy reminders with shrink to

I use AnyDVD. It lets you skip those reminders, removes Macrovision (making the movie SMALLER to begin with) and Region Coding, and also lets you skip the DVD Decryptor step.
