I know this has been posted before but im asking again, after i scoured the search button looking for this answer.

If i burn Splinter Cell will it work ok on my V5 Magic 3.1 modded PS2? Or should i not bother and stick to using the original?

splinter cell backup on magic3.1

Just for you info. I have a version 7ps2 with a magic3.1 and my backup copy of splinter cell works until you save between missions, then the magic chip will not verify again and you get the rsod. This is due to the double authentication check that Splinter cell does. Resetting and loading your save will continue your game, but it can be a hassle after every mission. The messiah mod will play this backup fine.
