Spiderman2 New Release for Xbox review

I strongly recommend this game if you like role playing games. I just beat the new release, "Spiderman2". Awesome game play.
Most of the game is pretty basic until you get to the final chapters. In one part of the game, you and Cat will face a bunch of villians in an abandoned area. Not to worry, jump into the scene periodically and hit a few of the bad guys then get out of there. Cat will do most of the work for you.
Doc Oct is one tough cookie to crumble. Before entering Doc Oct's lair, accumate hero points and purchase all of the moves in the store. To find the store view the map and go to the dollar sign. Practice all of the moves on villians in the game by responding to the distress calls with the little green question marks. You will need to master web slinging, wall crawling and power jumps.
Once you build up enough confidence in those areas. Face Doc Oct in his lair. You will have to disable all 9 of the switches while being persued by Doc and dodging the plasma blasts/ pulses. I found the most challenging is the switch located on the wall above the platform where MJ is standing. Once that one is disabled the rest arent bad. Do not attempt to disable that switch until you out run Doc one lap. By one lap I mean jumping to each corner platform. Avoid the water or start over. You can avoid some damage by tapping the "B" button when spider sences (white flash above head) tingle. The "B" button will do automatic manuevers to avoid oncoming attacks. Once all of the switches are disabled you will face Doc one on one. Retreat to one of the rooms where you have room to fight. Get use to tapping "B". When you build up the blue spider sence meter, push the black button to slow things down a bit and pound him when you can. Be patient though cause you will need to do this several times. A must do, climb the Empire State Building and run off the edge, diving down, spin a web JUST before plunging into the streets below. This was kinda cool graphics-wise.
