im havin major hassles tryin to connect my xbox to the pc im using a crossover cable but when i try to connect through flash fxp i just get a connection failed no route to host message its driving me nutts ive tried everything does anybody know what im doing wrong ???? thanks

What we have here is a failure to communicate!, You need to give us more information, on your evox menu assuming you have Evox check the settings and go to system info, what you need to check here is that the XBox is set to use static IP and then make sure that FTP is enabled and double check your IP address the one at the top with the MAC address not the one below.

Also try turning off any firewall or antivirus program you have running (some antivirus progs have built in firewalls) I had the same probs as you until I did this, after that all was well

ahhh haaaaaaaaaa nobody told me the default gateway ip in evox needed to be the same as the pc ip addy or mebe they did i just missed it or mebe its obvious and im just stupid lol either way all is well now thanx for the inputs!!!
