i am confused on a differant thread it states that sega gt is only 1.5 gig or summet like that. but after FTPing on to my pc it is reading at 4.7 gig and i am unable to back it up on to a dvd disk how do i do it have i screwed up or wot

well i got rid of that game ages ago cos it's crap. so i don't know the size but generally when a game is to big to fit on a dvd disc you have 2 options.
1 place the game on to you'r xbox HD and play from there. 2 search the folders etc of the game and see if you can delete some unnessecary files such as demos and foreighn languages. leave the folders intact just delete the contents. hope this helps. p.s i do know that the dual disc sega gt / jetset radio future is just over 4 gigs. is this the game you have ? |

so i can delete demos and stuff like that i got sega gt 2002. i didnt know that you could get dual layer game disks and this is the firs ever game i tryed to do and i read lodsa guides and everything but non of then tell you wot to do if the game is to big for a dvd disk. thanx for your help much appreciated
p.s wot are the consequences of deleting these files i gotta delete |

first off the game i mentioned is just 2 small games that sega decided to put on 1 disc as a kind of sales gimic.
second most of the games i have downsized like this work fine with no noticable problems. just remember to leave the folders intact just delete the contents and you should be fine. |
