Utility Disk/Patches

Hey,

A couple of questions, where do you get the utility disks from? and I have the version SCPH - 30003 can you tell which model I have from that? Or would I have to disassemble the PS2 to find out.

don't know where to get the utility disc, but you can id your ps2 here.

Utility Disk is for Jap PS2 and won'rt boot on a 30003.

So i'd have to use a proper mod, rather than patch the software? Know anyway where i don't have to fiddle with the interior of the PS2?

Nope - no alternative but an internal mod (like the rest of us have done) unless you want severely rected capabilities through other means (the knife trick, for example).
