The new X2 lite 2.1 edition question

I just got the new x2 lites (the 2.1 edition) and I noticed something odd. It came with what lookm like pogo pins and an extra wire for the ground, sperate from the rest of the regular wiring....I was wondering did the new x2 lites come with chip now? or Am I not realizing that I need everything to put the chip in. Here's what it comes with:

The x2 lite 2.1 flashed with linux cromwell bios

The wire plug-in (9 wires and ground)

Tiny wire to connect to led and swtich port (can be mounted on the back)

A 10 pin do hickie that plugs into the chip, but don't know what it does

and a spearate ground wire that you can plug into the chip.

Anybody got any ideas or experience with the new chip?

I'm not too sure on what you are asking. The X2 chip, Tiny wire to connect to led and swtich port (can be mounted on the back), and the wires are the only thing you need. Team x-ecutor decided to ship the chips with pin-headers (which is that 10 pin do hickey).

The pin-header can be used instead of the wire plug. You can use that and just plug the chip into the xbox mobo (but still solder the ground point). It isn't really needed, just makes it a less of a solder job.
