DVD+R doesnt work in DVD+RW drive???

i have anm HP-DVD+RW writer and it doesnt support DVD+R media. only +RW for some reaosn. is there anyway to make it support both DVD+R AND DVD+RW???

Nope. I recall looking into some HP burners a while back and remember seeing that some of their burner only support +rw. How dumb is that? I would personally get a new burner. Pioneer is great

yep i made that mistake to bought a HP DVD 100I when they first came out nearly 2 years ago cost £450.00 and only writes to dvd+rw and cd-r/ cd-rw.

nope absolutley nothing. even changing firmware wont help ( i already tried that)
