playstation 2 copying
I have an pioneer ao4 recorder and and also a dvd rom and the program that got me to this forum. So what do I do now. I am a complete novice. Please be gentle.

What program would that be? The best software for burning ps2 dvd games is RecordNow Max, or RecordNow DX which probably came with your A04. Take a look at the "Factoids: Backup Procedures " sticky and follow the RecordNow Max tutorial. You need to have a CloneCd compatible cd burner for ps2 cd games, these are the games with a blue back. Check your compatibility here. You need to have a "best write mode" of RAW-DAO 96. Then look in the same sticky as mentioned above for the CloneCd tutorial. Those are the basics and should be enough to get you started.
