SD2 Question and Myth3

Hi, I am trying to make a backup of Myth3, but I am a little confused.

To start off with I have a Plextor W8432T CD-RW and I have the a late version of Clone CD. I have not yet tried anything.

I read through the SD2 documentation.

I guess I understand that you have to rebuild the main EXE file of Myth3 with unsafedisk and such but am confused.

This is what I am quessing, please correct if wrong.

1, I use the unsafedisk2 version checker to find the version of SD2
2, I use unsafedisk2 to extract the exe file from the CD.
3, I use unsafesisk2 to rebuild the exe file from the CD.

So, what I am confused with is what about the CD Disk copy, do I copy the contents of the orgional cd to a temp folder, replace the rebuilt exe file and then burn a new cd with the same CD title and new exe?
Is the EXE the only part of the copy that SD2 is effecting? What about he bad sectors on the orgional.

From what I saw with Safedisk2 documentation, the writer will fail on sectors and such.

Could someone please fill me in or possibley give me a step by step procedure of backing up this CD? I am good at performing as long as I know the procedure, but this is all a little confusing to me.

Oh and what about the Crack that is avaiable, how does the crack work if I cannot copy the cd? Must be to crack a install with the orgional disk all that I can think of.

Thanks for any information.
