where can i get patches for games that need them . . .

If you mean patch's for the new .XBE file checks like what rayman 3 has got you could try the new ADR Patcher 0.5 as that is ment to work well.
http://www.adr-uk.com or you could try copyhunters xbe patcher which if i remember right there should be a link on www.xbox-scene.com in the news archive. Ashley

there's just one and it works for every game?

As far as i know its only the newer games that need patching because microsoft changed something in the .xbe file. Unless you have a Engimah-X / X-Tender 1.0 Beta Mod in your xbox then you might need the ADR xbox beta mod patcher 1.21.
