NBA Live 2003 problems

Hi all,

I have made a personal copy of NBA Live 2003 - but when I insert the CD to run the program it says "insert the correct CD and re-start the program" or something similar.

So I have tried to download this fix/patch from GameCopyWorld:

(NBA Live 2003 v1.1 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed EXE)

It says its an "executable archive" - but after I download and try and extract the file (with WinZip), it says it is not a valid archive or something.

Can someone help us by going through the exact steps as to how the effectively run and execute this file so we can play the game without the original CD.

Why is the archive not called a ".zip" file? Do I need a special program to install and extract it?

Any help would be appreciated a.s.a.p.
