TRUE CRIME - Crack Info

Crack is available - on GCW and link below.

Seems not to work on German version due to differences in the files.

SafeDisc 3.2 can easy be emulated. Do an perfect image of the original disc it ask for. Normaly 1 disc is protected. often last or first one.
Then download MiR (think the name is), and recreate a image. Now the image is only about 20-40 MB. What dose MiR do? It's only keeping the protection in the image, and not the files, so you can save disc space and mount the small image in to the emulator and run the game!

Use l8est alcohol or Deamon Tools. It shouldn't be blacklisted!

You can download MiR from Gamefix under Safedisk section.

How to play True Crime w/out a crack.

In 10 easy steps. It worked for me.

1. *You buy the original game.* (It's worth it.)

2. You get Daemon Tools 3.46 from
http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/port...Download&id=34

3. You get MiR (Mini Image Ripper) from
http://66.79.179.19/pt/MiR.zip
(or http://gf.wiretarget.com)

4. You get A-Ray Scanner from
http://downloads.aray-software.com/arayscanner.php

5. You check the 1st original cd w/A-Ray Scanner, where it says
it's Safedisc 3.20.etc protected. You click on the Profiler and
launch Alcohol 120%.

6. You make an image of the 1st cd w/Alcohol120%. The other 3
cd's do not have any protection so just make more images
of them all any way you want.

7. You launch MiR and enter first cd's image as an input file. MiR
will create a 23MB long TrueCrime1.mir file wherever you want.

8. You install the game off the original cd's or the images you just
created. After that you can delete all images. You should only
keep TrueCrime1.mir

9. You open Daemon Tools and mount TrueCrime1.mir in its virtual
drive. You don't have to turn on any emulation. To launch the
game you only have to double click the desktop shortcut of
the game(so FORGET about the .mir file in the virtual drive, just
leave it there and don't mess w/it)

10. If it says something about "cd/dvd emulation etc." and won't
run, you probably have CloneCD installed. Uninstall it.

Because you don't want the disc in the drive all time and it speeds up load time. I love the feeling when you're in the middle of a big fight and the game decides to do a "quick" check of the CD, giving the AI enuff time to kill me

Just a simple example

If you wan't to play without having your cd in the drive all the time, or having an image on your rather small HD for mounting with some sort of virtual drive.
Anyway you want to look at it, a crack is still highly appreciated among people who own more games then the average gamer!!

@insane_integra and Lord-nikonI... I think the problem is on your end, so many people I have given this crack,
and everyone else has no problems with it...
