I bet this has been asked a thousand times...whats the best method of backing up PC games....i have Clonecd and tried it once...it seems ok...
Also .... i`ve read Vlukas FAQ....is the program he is using called alcohol?....and whats the difference between that and Clonecd? Can i get a free download of Alcohol anywhere to try? Simmmy |

At the moment, Alcohol 120% is better than Clone CD. It can copy more protections that Clone CD at the moment, and the authors are always the first to bring new features into the market. Also, Alcohol (full version) lets the user add upto 31 virtual drives compared to Clone CD's one. Alcohol can read and write a multitude of image files, whereas Clone CD can only handle one.
You can download a trial version of Alcohol 120% from www.alcohol-software.com

You said u have already read Vluka's guide. It is a very comprehensive guide to copying games with Alcohol and I suggest you use that as a guideline.
