Battlefiled 1942 No Cd Patch won't work

I have loaded the game from the original cd's . downloaded the v1.3 patch and used the Fairlight v1.3 patch. However when I go to play the game it tells me to put in the correct disc. What step am I not getting correct. Thanks in advance. Special K

Sounds like you're missing something in the crack process. It works for me, but I also have Road to Rome installed.
