Guilty Gear X Music

I was just trying to fix the music for GGX and I noticed that some tracks are present as bin files named BGM23.bin etc. I was just wondering whether all tracks can be added like that or is they were somehow hacked to work in the game as they do not work in the sound test. The tracks on the disc as bin files are 23,24 ,27 ,29 and 30.

Alternatively is it safe to remove those files and add all tracks as CDDA.

CDDA and "normal" files are not read the same way. I mean, if a game has been written to read CDDA, it wont read anything else than CDDA. Idem for other files. So deleting your sound files and inserting them as CDDA will surely produce a coaster (your game will look for deleted sound files).

Thanks for your reply Megalexxx I will take your advise.

I would appreciate it if someone could post the number of audio tracks in their version which has all sound working to give me an idea if it is just the version I got and what to add as audio.

I would also like to know whether anyone else has the same problem in the sound test option even though the music works in the actual game.

Thanks to anyone willing to help.
