cd#####s.cjb.net for info on removing cd #####s .. you need a dissasembler, hex editor, and some knowledge of asm / win32 api .. that site can teach you most of the shit ..

some commercial copy protections, encrypt the game executables to stop ppl tampering with them so easily .. they verify cd is original, and then decrypt and run the exe if all was ok ..

fixed exe / decrypted exe, are these exe's dumped from memory after the cd verification, or decrypted manually by somebody / program ..

crackstore.com has some utilities to assist in removal of cd #####s and has some tutorials to help u learn .. protools.cjb.net has some tools too !
