probs with Yu gi oh game

I've installed a mes pro and everything works great. My son was playing yugioh ps1 last night and this morning, working great.
Now, when he tried loading it up, what shows up is a red circle with red line thru it. I cannot read the writing. I remember seeing something similar with the ps1 and older chips identifying the mod to the ps1. Anybody have any ideas. Other ps1 games work fine. Thnx
