soon as my xbox is delivered, I'll have it chipped with the LPC Mod V 2.0 which I already have.

To play backups, all you need is a modchip. To make backups, you need flashfxp, evolutionX, and a network between a PC and you xbox. Also, not many xbox games can fit on a cd-rw, so don't get your hopes up too high when copying, cus the games are just too big.

To watch divX movies, you will need a program called "Xbox Media Player" (xbmp). That's it.

You will also need a program called Xiso to make the xbox iso images.

alright, thanks.

two questions left:

>How many games will I approximately get on the original Xbox HD?

>How long does it take to copy a game to the xbox from my PC and do I have to rip it first create an ISO and then burn it?

1. It depends on your xbox HDD. Right now, the xbox should have about 8 gig on it, and you should only use about 6 gig. So you can put 1-3 games on the xbox Hard-drive, depending on how big the games are.

2. Hmm, it copies maybe 1.3mb/s. So if the game is about 2gb, should take about 25-35 mins. If you play games off your HDD, you don't need to make an iso.

you don't need to defrag the hard-drive. To play the games off it, all you need it an .xbe launcher. a program called "EvolutionX" or "boXplorer" can do that.
