instalation Q:?plz help
i already got a cd burner now can i take that out and replace it with the dvd burner and use the same wires or do i have to add some new wires???thanxz

Yes you can (as long as the DVD burner is internal like the cd-writer), just take out the power cable and the IDE cable and put them into the DVD burner. Make sure that the jumper settings on the DVD burner are the same you used on the cd-writer.

If you have the space, I would rec. leaving your cd burner installed and then installing your dvd writer so you could have both drives....
The reason behind this is so you can still burn cd-r's with the cd burner and not put the extra wear and tear on your expensive dvd writer (use it for burning dvds only)...
