Vcd on DVDplayer help

Hey I have a 2 yr old Sony DVD player that has a the fucntion of playing Vcd format disks. But when ever I go to try to play one it never works, just tells me that there is no disk. I called up Sony and the guy said that b\c its an older DVD player, it will be very picky on reading the Vcd disks. He also told me that he got Syseris cd brand to work. Their are from England. I cant find any information on them on google. Is there any other cd brand out there that will be read by my gay ass DVD player???????

Thumbs up

The only CDRW that work 100% of the time on older Sony DVD players are Princo and GigStorage CDRWs. Fortunately these are the cheapest kind of media around my parts of the wood !
