I got Madden 2002 for PS2 last week, and my friend was looking for another copy, but we cant find it.Everyone is sold out. SO i have decided to burn the game for him. My question is:does he HAVE to have a mod chip to play a burned PS2 game? Sorry, but I have a 28.8 k and my cpu goes REALLY slow, it is hard to navigate through the site.

Yes - to play a backup he needs a modchip or else he can use the Knife/Cog swap trick (which I won't explain) and wreck his PS2.

Charlie, I wonder how many times you or i have answered this question lol. ham master, you should use the search function.To play backups you need a modchip, gameshark2, AR2 or Region-X.
