HOW CAN PLAYSTATIONMODS.COM BRAG ABOUT THEIR NEO4, U NEED TO ATATCH 33 WIRES!! THEY MIGHT AS WELL HAVE MADE THEIR OWN FRIGGIN PS2! I WAS SET ON BUYING A NEO4, BUT I CANT TAKE A CHANCE IN HAVING TO ATATCH 33 WIRES. THATS INSANE! I CAN FORGET ABOUT SAVING MONEY ON GAMES FROM NOW ON.

33 wires does sound abit much but at the end of the day think of the time saved on swapping disks.
Anyway if you are capable of soldering 6/8 wires then whats the harm of doing a few more. |

Hi,
33 wires!!!! sod that i was not gonna even fit a NEO2.2 mod in my PS2 and that only has half a dozen wires, got a pro todo mine. Im pretty sure pro installers are gonna charge quite a high rate fitting those bad boys in PS2s, some peeps say it can take upto 2.5 hours to fit a NEO2.2 mod in v4 board. I think ill stick with my NEO2.2 mod and REGION X as boot disc. Cheers Dal |

I am more than happy with the neo-2.2 and wont be in any hurry to upgrade to the neo-4 .

i think they are 11 wires or so but they have more features and have no disc swapping at all. NIkP
