I am an uninformed parent who bought PS-X-Change2 over a year ago so my son could play his newly purchased Japanese versions of Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Battle 22, Dragon Ball Final Bout and Dragon Ball Z Legends. We followed the directions for PS user and put the spring in, no problem. We put the disc in and it would never let us use the games. We are at a loss and we have a disappointed kid. Can anyone help us out there? Thanks!

I had a similar experience. A buddy of mine had the same games and bought a plug mod to play them. He had no luck either. I borrowed the games from him to test them out on my PS with a stealth mod(I think) and they worked perfectly. There is somthing about the plug mod that wont allow these games to boot. Maybe somebody on this board can give you a technical explanation of for this problem.

watson2 - where abouts are you?
the internal PSX mods cost peanuts, we could point you in the right direction to get it modded (you are looking at less than £15) if you dont fancy doing it yourself.

Moderator,
I am located in Fairmont, WV, USA (about 25 miles from WVU). This type of help would be great. We don't really know a Mode chip from an atom. We have a PS2 so changing our PS to be able to use the Japanese versions would be wonderful! We just don't have the knowledge. If you would rather contact our email than bore your readers that is great too! Thanks to you and your Board Members. Happy Holidays! |
