Has anyone tried to use DvdPro for PS2 and Xbox backups?

Is this a good brand to use for backups?

Pioneer DVR 104 DVD-RW unit
Nero burning rom

PS2 info:

US (NTSC)
V 7 mainboard

USA (NTSC)
first console version (bought day 1)
