tmpgenc and premiere to edit mpeg

After using tmpgenc to create an mpeg I used to be able to use premiere to open it and edit, but not any more. Instead, only the audio part comes through but no picture. I noticed this change when i started using 2.58, does this version have issues?

I found the answer. Previously I had been encoding in mpeg-1. Now I am encoding in mpeg-2. Premiere can't read mpeg-2 only mpeg-1 cause I tried encoding in mpeg-1 again and it worked with premiere this time.
