does anyone know if record now max is compatable with this burner? also has anyone buerned a backup using this program record now max??????thanx in advance

Yes I have burned with that burner and Record Now Max. You must have an earlier version of Record Now Max to be able to download the updated version that supports the Sony DRU-500A.
