What are the protection on Baldurs Gate 2?

It says "Protection: CD-Checks" but I cant find that on the protection list... and how to avoid it??? Please help me... I'm a newbie!!!

BOT is on a distinguished road

Just copy it with anything.
Cd-checks only means it needs a copy of the cd in the drive to run.
There is NO copy protection on the cd at all that will cause problems with copying.
