PS2 Backups on Traxdata 790 MB cds

When I try to burn games games on 790 MB cd's they almost always never work. Almost all the games I've burned on 700 MB cd's work perfectly, but only one I've tried on the 790 MB cds works and it loads slowly and very noisily. The 700 MB cds are BENQ and the 790 MB cds are Traxdata. I use FireBurner at 1X, TAO. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong, or are they destined to fail? I'm holding off on a DVD burner until I can get a nice one that supports all DVD formats. Luckily they are coming soon. Thanks

I put Tekken 4 on a 790 MB cd and after the Namco screen comes up, it freezes. If I hit a button, the screen turns black and the cd motor never spins again. How can I fix this?
