700 MB problems

I'm having problems when I'm trying to fill a C.D. to the brim. When i fill a cd with files, and go over 650 MB, the cd becomes unreadable.. Also, trying to make a copy of a CD that is almost completely filled (699-700 MB) causes the same problem.
I use a HP+8100 writer and tried a couple of programs like Easycd and Clone cd, but they all give the same problem.
At this moment I'm downloading Nero, to see if that program can fix the problem.
All help is welcome, thanks.

BOT is on a distinguished road
Only idiots attempt to fit more on a cd than the burner can handle. The 8100 series CANNOT burn a full 80 min cd!

It is possible to fill up a cd whit more data then 650-700mb.Kingpin for example is a overburn game.I dunno much about hp writers, some writers can not do overburn.some cannot do it"orginal" unless you flash the firmware.I had to do that on my first writer(sony) Flashing the firmware is a "little dangerous" but can make a writer run like a rolex. For example my plextor 16-10-40 can now read over 10 sessions on a cd-r.That was not possible whit the orginal bios(firmware). Some writers can even be *dramaticaly* increased in speed whit new firmware.Do a search on www.google whit firmware hp8100 or something.should give u plenty of hits or just goto hp homepage(you can get "non
orginal" firmware too, to many writers, but warranty is broken)Hope this helps you out a bit.Good luck
