Red face extension prob

I have a verbatim cd-r/w. I have access to most progs. My issue is..how do I take progs from my comp that are in folder with..say..an exe file and all necessary files to run the software (not iso, bin, or cue) and put them on a cd-r disk so I can use just like the ones from manu? Such as putting all the photoshop files on disk and using it just like the disks from manu? Please help. I am new to cd-r and I have read so many tutorials that I am now cross-eyed. All of them talk about iso, bin, etc. Do I need to turn my files into iso? what progs do I need?

You are of course talking about FREEWARE programs?

For commercial programs - read the board rules

not commercial..

I mentioned photoshop because it is a well known program. I have a lot of freeware that, to my knowledge is only available by downloading. I just want to be able to put them on an exe disk so that I never have to dl them again and I can pass them on to other family members. I already have some freeware on disks that came free with pc magazines so I am not concerned about those. I have a freeware diary that is really cute so I would like to package it for the teenagers for Christmas (It says it is distributable as long as I include all files). Please help.

To put freeware programs on cd, you'll need to have the installation file(s). This is the file that you download from the internet. There is no way (in most circumstances) to copy a program to a cd by just copying it's program folder (ie no installation file).
