newbie needs help
i have just got my ps2 modded with the messiah chip. psx 1 backups play great. i have just tried to backup tekken tag(ps2 game)and cannot get it to go. i have clone cd 4 and have tried using cdrwin and am getting no where.have looked at the tutorials and believe all i have to do to get a backup is the same i do for ps1 games.could i have a problem with the messiah chip or am i missing something when i try to backup ?

I assume you double tap reset to get the PSX backups to boot... AND you single tap reset for the PS2 backups....
I have backed up Tekken Tag with Clone CD 4 and it boots PERFECTLY..... Is your burner 100% compatible with clone cd... What type and model is your burner....? Try reading the disc a 8X and writing at 4X.... Its a little slower than most people use BUT produces a outstanding backup....

You could also try using ClonyXXL..... It works with Clone CD 4.... It will scan the game you are trying to backup and determine the type of protection, and apply the correct settings too Clone Cd....

yes i have a liteon 24102b and also have clony
just been reading about some installation problems and suspect it may be there is where my problem is. thanks , i think i will take it back and explore that side of things.i didn't think it looked that hard to copy a ps2 game(cd ones that is) thanks monty
