Beach Life

i was wondering if anyone can help me, i cant get beach life too work, when i start the game, i get the edios screen then the next, then i see the main title screen then it kicks me back to the desktop, i've tryed updating directx and my video drivers, and installing this and that but nothing works, i have a geforce2 mx, amd 500, 320 ram & windows 98, please help !
