I'm retarded..can someone help? (VGA bootdisc)

All I really want to do is find a boot disc that will boot with VGA support. I've found Utopia v1.1, and VGA patches, but none of them have readme.txt or anything, and I have absolutely no idea what files I need to burn.

Can someone just walk my retarded ass through it? I've got a spare VGA monitor sitting in my room on its side waiting for tate mode Ikaruga.

if the patch files are ppf(most likely) use something like apply ppf, load in the patch, load in the iso and click patch, now burn the iso on cd and it should be done

although if you use bin2boot on your Ikaruga iso you could just autoboot it
