I've recently tried to backup a game onto an 800MB CD, but it did not work. The CD was the TDK CD-R GOLD, it that a problem? Is the size a problem? Can PSX games only use the standard 650MB CD size?
I use CloneCD and my burner is compatible. Just wondering?

You shouldn't have any problems backing it up onto any CD-R's period.I use 700 meg Sony CD-R's and it's not a problem..
Maybe perhaps you didn't burn it correctly.. |

Stick with 700 Meg Sony or TDK or any 700 meg CD-R's should work..It depends on the laser..
Some say they get the generic CD-R's to work fine while others stick with Name brands..Remember Generics work the laser harder than Name brands..Few agree with this some don't.. Choice is yours.. |
