dvdr probs

Can any1 help me here, i have pioneer ao4 & primo 2.0, & can copy most games fine using intenso dvdr. But some games like Airblade, GT3, copy fine but they do not want 2 play on ps2, i just get ps2 logo on screen & that's it it goes blank with no boot. Ihave tried these games on pioneer RW dvdr & work fine, but y is it certain games do not like cheap dvdr? Does any1 else have this prob or is it just me would be interested 2 no. sorry 4 the long story. ps: Have Messiah mod!!
