Can you help me with this patch please?
Hey people, waddup?
Recently i downloaded a rom (DBZ: Legacy Of Gokuu) for my son. I then baught one of those flash advance sets. I followed the instructions precicely but when the rom gets going on his gba, it says, 'Game cannot be played on the hardware found.' I researched on this and discovered that you can patch games to fix this problem. I am yet to find a patch. Can someone give me a quick guide on how to make patches on my own. This will help me greatly Cheers; Score |

What kind of Flash Advance card did you buy?
64M, 128M, 256M? Also, did you get a normal one, or does yours say "Xtreme" on it? For instance, there are new versions of all the flash cards coming out called Flash Advance Xtreme. So you might have a Flash Advance Xtreme 128M. .x[ DeVante ]x. |

As far as I know there are only two ways of patching. One is crash-patching, it is meant for the oldest 64M cartridges none of the newer cards need it. Also there's SRAM patching, this is to make sure you'll be able to save. It changes the EEPROM saving into SRAM. But to be honest I don't think this is what you need. Can you be a little more specific on what error you get, is it in the writeprogram or somewhere else?
