burned game doesn't work, what's wrong?

hi!

i downloaded a game and unzipped it. it was a .nrg file for nero. i burned it using nero and there were no problems with the burn. but the game doesn't work. my dreamcast does play burned games, but when i put in the cd it has that track and play screen, then it asks to insert a disk. what's the problem??
