I have patch NwN upto current verrison 1.20 an own a lan at home that I like to be able to connet to an play some co-op NwN. there is a file for 1.19 but I cannot get that to work under 1.20 getting the dreaded : the same key cd is in use on that sever: message. if anyone knows of a fix or file from this please contact me [email protected] or post it here thanks in advance

Hey there . I am in the same boat. If you get the patch please send it to me or post it here on the bulletin with a connection so I can get it. My wife said shes willing to play but doesnt like solo games, finally she wants to try a game. Its real hard encouraging her to want to play RPG. When she finally said she would give it a go, 1.19 had just been updated to 1.20 so I cant use the 1.19 patch on her computer.

So anyway, I need the 1.20 LAN thingy too. Please

It actually took my half an hour to upload it with my 33600 connection... Not going to do that again, though. Here is a byte to byte comparison of nwnmain.exe with level cap and nwnmain.exe without one, first row being offset, second - what is in nwnmain cracked no-cd/fixed-exe v1.20 which can be downloaded right from cgw and third row- what it should be changed to in order to remove level cap. No changes to exptable.2da or xptable.2da are required.

Thanks for the hack ROMA!!

I was sooo stupid,
I first tried to edit onto an original MWMAIN.exe & was wondering
why the hex codes did not match. I thought my version was different

Only later then found out that your hex code was for the
No-CD patch version & not original exe.

Saw your post on the Official NWN forum too, you really kick up a
hugh flaming war there! great fun reading all those screams of outrages from the so call "purist" group.
