Problem With my Ps2

Hey everybody. I recently bought a PS2 modchip from Modchip.com It is called PS2 Modchip. I got the chip but it didnt have instructions for ps2 versoin SPCh30001- version 4 which i have. I looked on their site and found a diagram of where i have to solder the wres too. I did this all correctly. I put it back together but the modchip didnt work. my games were burned correctly and work. I was just wondering if I have to do anything else to get it to work? maybe do something to the laser?
