Checking 1st_read.bin

Is there any possible way to view a 1st_read.bin file to see if its been scrambled or not? I've got a bunch of homebrew software that I've been playing around with, and I have no idea anymore whats been scrambled, and what hasn't been.

It would also be nice to be able to check with a bunch of my older backups that I've kept on my HD.

Any reply would be greatly appreciated.
