Upgrade of NEC NR-7700A

Upgrade of NEC NR-7700A to any similar CD-RW (supposedly Ricoh) with support
overburn is possible? Much people have bought NR-7700À and now have a problems
with it. Support of NEC was talking: the NR series does not support media which
break the standards of cd media, including overburning and media above 80 min.
It is very unlikely that this will change in the future.
