hiya.. my 2 year old yamaha 4416E will not write anymore... a*se! nero 5 reports burn process was ok, but then it fails the final verification. eject, then visual inspection of cd shows no data was written on disk. neros never given any problems before, and i have the latest version (h?) firmware upgrade... wierd.

the drive itself can still read cd-rom data fine (weirder)... problem is just with cd-r burning... i'm a lamer: what do you reckon? dust? hair? laser stuck on guide-rail? dirty lens? none of these make sense 'cos like i said, it still reads 99.234% of cd-roms fine. please heylp!
