trying to copy playstation games,
Following settings were used : Read as follows: set read speed to x1 selecting read subcanel data from data tracks read subcannel data from audio tracks select abort on read errors writing to x1 I did not get the option to use RAW DAO, does 4.0.0.1 do this automaticly?? select don't repair subchannels data unselect simulate writing not availible, select burn proof/just link not availible, unselect perform laser power calibration not availible, wait until buffers are full selecting always close last session Does CloneCD have these perform the "not availible" ones automaiticly??? How do I activate them? Or should I. I ended up getting a read error ~95%, I used a Samsung-308beb and tried LG GCE-8320B, both of which had the same error about the same place. Any suggestions for Backing up My copies of playstation games would be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like your disc is damaged (ie scratched, marked)if it keeps stopping in the exact same place.
You can get disc repair kits(have done it myself) from most good game/music outlet stockists. Another thing could be that your reader/re-writers are not 100% compatible, try www.elaborate-bytes.com (clone website) for this. Also try downloading clony xxl detection program from www.cnet.com This proggy detects protection on a disc, then start up clone from it and it will pass the needed parameters on. All the 'unselectable' options you have means that you re-writer will not support that option thus is not highlighted to select. Check on the clone website for compaterbility, you may have to change yer re-writer,but the lite-on is as good as any and very affordable. |

The burner I have is compatible with clonecd, I can copy sd2 and sd 2.51, So, I would not think it was the burner. It does sound like it might not have all of the features though. Should it matter?
